The Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) is a three-part series of fast-paced, interactive, one-day courses offered to refine a Rotarian’s leadership skills and increase their base of knowledge in Rotary. Each successive RLI Part builds on the previous one and must be completed before registering for the next part in the series.

Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) Part 1The Rotarian – is where the RLI begins. This is the gateway course to the institute and candidates must progress sequentially. This curriculum focuses on the individual Rotarian and includes the following sessions: Insights into Leadership, My Rotary World, Ethics and Vocational Service, The Rotary Foundation, Engaging Members, and Creating Service Projects. Everyone starts with Part 1 and progresses, in sequence, to Parts 2 and 3 at future Institute sessions.

Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) Part 2The Club – focuses on how Rotarians can lead and strengthen their clubs to help reach the club’s service goals. After completion of Parts 1 and 2, Rotarians progress to Part 3 in a future Institute Session.

Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) Part 3My Rotary Journey – focuses on how Rotarians can achieve more in Rotary through international service, vocational service, public relations, and Rotary Foundation support. In order to register for Part 3, the Rotarian must have already completed Parts 1 and 2 in previous institute sessions. After completion of Part 3, Rotarians will “graduate” in a unique recognition ceremony.
